The word Dormition comes from Latin which means sleep, a Christian way of expressing the ending of earthly life and awaking again in resurrection life. The Dormation Cathedral at the monastery here is dedicated to the Mary. In the interior, all columns, walls and ceiling are decorated with paintings.

Refectory means dinning place of church or monastery. The Refectory Church at the monastery here has a long hall of 85 meters long with no pillar support at the middle. The walls and ceilings are decorated with colourful paintings. At the end of the hall is an altar.
